Okay folks! It’s about that time again!!!! The 2008 Women Only Christmas Card Exchange!!! 
Okay…here are the rules, very simple:
If you wish to participate in the exchange, I will need the following information from you by November 29th:
Forum User Name
Real Name
Mailing Address
Email Address
(please specify if you only want e-cards)
If you want to receive cards, but don't want to give out your personal info, I encourage you to find someone else (either IRL or on the forums) who is willing to receive cards for you at their mailing address. Please work out these details *before* emailing me. Please title the email: Christmas Card Exchange, otherwise it will go into my junk mail, and I won't know that you've tried to contact me. The email address is: princess4jesus2000@hotmail.com
And if you ONLY want to send cards, you can let me know that also. (You don't have to send me your personal info, of course.)
The first week of December, I will send an email to everyone who wants to receive cards. The email will include a list of the handles (not addresses) of people who want to send cards.
Those of you who want to receive cards will then have several days to look over the list of potential senders and consider whether you want them to have your mailing and/or email address.
By December 6, I need a response via email from everyone who wants to receive cards.
I want one of these two responses:
It is OK for everyone on the list to have my information.
OR...
Do NOT send my mailing address to:
a.
b.
c.
Do NOT send my email address to:
a.
b.
c.
After that, those who want to send cards will receive an EMAIL from me with the names, addresses, and/or email addresses of everyone who said you may have their info.
If you are a part of this exchange, you don't have to send a card to every person on this list if you don't want to.
You may also send email cards if you prefer.
Let the fun begin.

Trish, about how long will it take me to get a card to Australia? I can't remember ever sending anything there before, but I could be wrong.

Depending on where you're from, it can take a couple of weeks, due to the time of year.

Okay I'm sending my info right now, I have never done this, but sounds like fun!
Can new people to the forum do this? I would understand if it's not okay.

Bee - I would say yes newbies can do this because you get to pick who can and can't have your personal info. For example, if you didn't want me to have it, then you could state that when you send in your info and I would never know the difference. I would just think that you decided against doing it.

Could you post a message AFTER you have sent the list out? I have a tendancy to go through checking all the emails only in the "From" column, and if I don't know the name immediately, I delete it...most times without looking at the subject line. So, I just want to make sure I don't miss the list by an accidental delete...
