I have all of Legacy 5s projects except for their latest Accapella CD. Anyone have that one, is it good?

I think it's mostly a compilation with a few new songs added.

No, I have all the heritage projects, and not one of them is from there.

Which L5 recording is your favorite?

I really like "Monuments," "Heroes of the Faith," and the one with the song "Strong In The Strength" on it (can't think of the title). I still haven't gotten "Live In Music City" yet, but I have heard L5 perform a number of the songs already, and I think it must be a great album!

My faves are Live In Music City (all-time fave.......SO FAR!!!), Monuments, and Heritage Vol. 3. I have yet to hear Songs We Used To Sing.

That would be Strong In The Strength, their first-ever recording.

My favorite album of theirs is Monuments. I really love that album. Live in Music City, however, is my second favorite.

What I like about both of these albums is there really isn't any "filler" songs on them. All of the songs are of high quality.

Yeah....and you can tell when a group has fillers, too.

Yeah, the filler songs always seem to be of inferior quality. I guess that's because the group spends most of their time on their "big" songs.

Or they can't acquire enough of them. Seems they hit the jackpot, so to speak, with Live In Music City and Monuments.

Incidentally, a group is often one's favorite when one likes all the songs they do. It is fascinating to read all the posts above, especially about Monuments. My initial take on the CD is that "If it Couldn't Be Done" and "Whosoever" were filler songs, or at least (don't get mad at me yet!) songs that would strike a person who wasn't particularly a fan as filler or as less outstanding than the others.

It's amazing how people can hear the same song and have totally different reactions!

Why would we get mad at you, Daniel? I'm not at all.

Well, sometimes if someone says that they didn't particularly like a song or two from an artist's project ("filler"), the superfans can jump all over them.

On the other hand, Daniel....I am a picky person and usually I always have a favorite song on any CD even with my fave groups (GV, Perrys too), but with Monuments and Live In Music City I like all the songs, which is unusual, so that has to be a good thing as far as their songs go. Did that makes sense? Ugh! I need to go to bed....
