I've gotta think that if they made it to PF, they made it to Tony's! Hope they're having a good time!

Not once but twice. Sunday and Tuesday nights. Pig Wings Sunday and Big T burger Tuesday. Lot of the sg artist have been by there this month.
Tony was really working hard both nights. He's put in new computers and they were haveing to learn how to use them.

If you ever go to Tony's one thing you must have is desert. I would highly recommend, if he has one, the pecan pie cheese cake. It was so good I ordered one and brought it home. Sorry locals, no samples.

Marge and I will be staying .6 miles from Tony's during Praise Fest. We plan on eating there the evening of Nov. 10th and was wondering how late Tony stayed open at night.

A Smoky Mountain Christmas!
November 28, December 5 and December 12 2008

Smoky Mountain Christmas time is here! As most of you know The
Galloways and I were robbed last year when someone stole the trailer
that The Galloways had that was housing all of our Smoky Mountain
Christmas stuff….like china, silverware, decorations, etc…so we were
talking after last year that we might just end it on a high note…and
call it quits. We had a great time doing the event but it is a LOT of
work and takes a lot of time to put together. Well….people heard we
were talking about stopping and would not hear of it…they LOVE it and
want to see it continue. SO…after many late night phone conversations
The Galloways and I have decided to once again present A Smoky
Mountain Christmas! The event will be held this year at the beautiful
Hidden Mountain Resort Clubhouse….This is the original site that we
had the very first year in…so we return to our roots! Hidden Mountain
has recently renovated their clubhouse and it is BEAUTIFUL and has a
complete commercial kitchen and a breathtaking dinning room! They are
a cabin resort and will offer special deals to folks who would like
to stay in a cabin during your Smoky Mountain Christmas stay. The
dates for this years event will be November 28, December 5 and
December 12….as many of you know in the past we have had about 9-10
nights…this year we are only doing 3 nights!!!! So you need to make
your reservations quick before we are full! Smoky Mountain
Christmas '08 will be $55 per person….reservations required…call The
Galloways at 615-776-3890 today for your reservation.
Smoky Mountain Christmas is a Full Dinner, Games and Concert…it is a
great Christmas event to bring your family, friends, Sunday School
Class, your Pastor and his wife! CALL TODAY!

Hey Ya'll I FINALLY got to go to Tony's! My family and I went to Singing In The Smokies the weekend of Oct 18th, but went earlier in the week to Pigeon Forge. I decided we were going to eat there!

First of all, Kirk, Keith, and Tony treat everyone like regulars, and we were not the only first timers (they ask when you walk in if you've ever been there!)

Well, my tip for you is to ask how big something is before you order it!!! MY mom ordered a half rack or ribs, and well... I'd hate to see the whole one! 5 people coulda eaten off those things! I was going to get them, but at the last minutes Tony told us they had a porterhouse pork chop, so I changed my mind. A few minutes later I hear Kirk from the kitchen hollering "My soul what a pork chop!!!"
HE came runnin out to my table, his eyes as big as silver dollars saying, "OH MY GOSH your pork chop is HUGE!!!!!", Ladies and Gentlemen, my pork chop was 14oz!!!! It was the BIGGEST thing I have ever seen in my life! I asked Tony, "You couldn't tell me how big it was before I ordered it?!?!?!" He just laughed and said, "Aw let 'er rip!"....
The food was awesome, and you get more than plenty for your money (I left half a chop!!!), and the atmosphere is great. Very family friendly! If you haven't been you really should take the opportunity to go! I can't wait to go back!

LissaJoe, thanks for your post. Hope Tony will have one of those pork chops next time we are there. But that probably will be after the first of the year. Traveling most of the other time between now and then.
Tony does have some neat specials. .

Well, I just had to get on-line to post Tony's special

PRAISEFEST SPECIAL MENU!

Legacy Five Fried Green Tomates
Booth Brothers Brunswick Stew

The Greater Vision Smoked Ribeye Steak
The Pfeifer Porterhouse Pork Chop
The Dr. Stanley Smoked Pit Chicken
The Dumplin Valley Trio (chickin' and dumplins, of course!!)
The Specks Smokey Mountain Cheesesteak

Tony says he has had a LOT of folks come in from PraiseFest. All I've got to say is that the food is great and the service was wonderful! And I got a big ole hug from Tony!

Also, a lady came up to me while we were eating and said, "are you related to Diana?" Guess we look alike!

Tony says hello to everyone!

I wouldn't have been able to pass up the Fried Greeen tomatoes.

In fact, I am happy just to have side dishes there, they are very good.

Don't think we will have time to get to Tony's while home. Just got in a while ago and have to pack for a 6 week trip. And leave for Ga. on Thursday.

Y'all enjoy Tony's BBQ and Grill.

Well, we are going to Tony's BBQ to eat tonight. Meeting our former pastors wife for dinner. Hopefully our former pastor will be there also.
Hope Donna did not eat all the pork chops that were on the PraiseFest menu.

Mike,
I had the fried okra and Tony's BBQ beans. Loved them. It was a very hard decision about which sides to get. Guess I'll just have to go back and try some of the others! Yum!

This is their last night, Frog. When I talked to her at 2:30 or so, she was really full from eating somewhere. I doubt that they'll be going to Tony's tonight and they're leaving first thing in the morning.

Donna, someone ate all the pork chops before I got there. Bummer. I told Tony you had posted the PF menu. He didn't think you would have had enough time to post it.

Ate the cheesesteak instead.
