Quick, call 911. Fireball on crosswalk! poster flatulated near a spark and the ensuing explosion pushed him clear into the sign. Knocked the numbers off and gas now reads, Reg.$- .87.9 and cars are beginning to line up down the block.
Bring the ambulance, the poor posters pants are still smoldering. Need paramedics to administer ice to rear...

Ya'll pray for me--the buy-one-get-one-free sales were too much for me this week, and I succumbed to the siren call of the dreaded grocery store!

And what's more, tonight I will be cooking with some of ill-gotten gains!

BOGO's rock. Be careful, some stores charge full price for the first and none for the 2nd so if you only need one of something, you don't get it for half price.

If we over spend at the grocery store, can we ask congress for a bail out? If we do are they going to argue about it on the news for days on end? Guess it is best just to handle our money wisely.

A few weeks ago, on a morning radio talk show, the two hosts were discussing a scientific advancement that could reduce methane emissions from cow flatulence.
One host said "Yea, they gave a pill to a cow and it stopped flatulating!"
The other host chimed in "The only drawback was that a month later the cow exploded."

You guys are just so mean to those of us who are visually oriented.

So, is it a sin to buy Halloween candy at the store in a devil costume if you intend to pass it out with a chick tract? Or is it just in bad taste... speaking of bad taste, who invented the orange moon pie!

(taking cover now)

Yes, chick tracks are in bad taste.

Yes, chick tracks are in bad taste.

Yeah, instead of those tracts, it would be cheaper and more personal just to say, "You're ugly, smelly, stupid, and spawn of Satan. Please visit my church."

I had to go back and figure out how we were mean to the visually oriented. I quickly figured it out and read it to my DD10 who is sitting next to me. She spit all over her screen.

Sadly, I think there would be a big market for something like that...

Is anyone inspired to buy the fixing for meatloaf? Thanksgiving is coming up after all. It might be more politically correct to eat a meatloaf and be repentant than celebrate with a turkey this year.

Isn't it a commandment to stuff yourself silly with turkey at the end of November every year?

Are you forgiven if you watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade beforehand?

True story. When I was a little girl I used to watch the Macy's parade in White Plains NY the Friday after Thanksgiving. In time the family moved. When I was well into my adult years I moved near Atlanta and they had the Macy's parade there, too! Woot. But now the parade has changed hands and Macy's is no longer the primary sponsor.

Now to answer the question, you can be forgiven if you get up early enough to watch the Broadway previews before the parade starts marching, to see if the dancers can dance without looking like they are freezing their hinnies off. And during the commercials, start on the pumpkin pie.

hahahahaha!!

My neice watched the Christmas Charlie Brown last night. How many times should I let her watch it before I show her the error of her ways?

I'm right there with Charlie Brown. No fiber optic open like an umbrella christmas tree for me. If I'm going to be accused of following pagan practices I want the real deal, piney smell, needles on the floor, the slightly bend trunk that makes it impossible to stand up straight, the bare spot that goes against the wall so no one sees it, the bird's nest hidden in the branches, etc.
