...did you get a lot of extra cramping and PMS symptoms your first period after being sexually active? This one so far for me has been worst them most lately...and that can be hard to do!

I think it was pretty normal for me, my second one I had some pretty bad cramps - but that happens every few cycles or so, so I also considered that normal. Now, my husband will tell you I'm extra irritable and sensitive right before my period, and I have never noticed that so much before, but then I never had someone around me enough to notice!

Stina- It's never crossed my mind to be tested for infertility. I don't obsess over pregnancy- if it happens, it happens and, if not, that's fine, too. Frankly, I'm quite amused by some of the obsession I see taking place on these boards because it is so foreign to my natural inclinations about pregnancy. I'm just amazed by how different we all are. I'd like for it to not happen, but God will give me the grace to deal with whatever life hands me. Like Yo, I've known couples who were declared "infertile" who had a child once they stopped being so stressed about not being able to have children and accepted that adoption was "their only hope," so I wouldn't put much stock in what a doctor reported as the chances of infertility... If there is a chance at all, I'm going to use contraception.

I guess for me the stress is less because I am not that worried about it happening. If it doesn't fine, if it does, fine. I can't change either way, and I did what I could to prevent, then it is out of my hands, so why stress.

I think I can say for the first time in the past 7 1/2 years being married, I don't want to get pregnant. With having just started our restaurant, having a baby would not be a good idea plus I don't think my mom is able to watch two babies.

Well, I'm about 1.5-2 weeks out from my next period. Funny think is, I'm praying it will come, but I think my husband is hoping that we will end up pregnant. I just hope my period is not as severe as last months.

Yup, our system seems to work for us. :)

It was a weird one this month. I am glad it is over, as I start a new job on Monday and I won't have to worry about that.

Yeah for Aunt Flo!!!!!!!

It feels like this month is lasting forever. But, I'm not due for antoher visit until somewhere between the 14th and 17th. Hopefully I'll be done by the time Ray get's back. He returns on the 17th from another 2 weeks away for the Army...sheesh!

Ha, ha, me also. For some reason my last two cycles have been long... like 35+ days long. I did buy a pregnancy test after the first long one but didn't end up using it. When I got home from the store I had my answer.

That's how it always works. When my period is late I just take a test, it's bound to start within the hour then.

Not that I need one... but are pregnancy tests cheap? Thankfully, I haven't ever been late, (early a few times, but that's ok with me!), so I haven't had to worry about it.

I buy mine at the dollar store, so they are cheap for me.

I'm hoping Aunt Flo will show up in the next few days. Otherwise I'm gonna have to go and buy some of those dollar store pregnancy tests.

I never go to the dollar store. I do remember though when pregnancy tests first came to dollar stores and my friends and I were laughing and saying that they probably weren't very accurate.

If I need a pregnancy test I buy the Wal*Mart brand ones.

They are as accurate as any other test, the science behind pregnancy tests is pretty simple. It was actually one of the more expensive brands that was recalled/found to be inaccurate a couple years ago. Even men were getting positive pregnancy test results with those ones

just as a side note...

if men (generally speaking) take a pregnancy test and get a positive (and there is nothing wrong with the test as Ryanne said) it can mean that they have (oh goodness, I hope I get this right) testicular cancer. We learned this at David's appointment. Not that he's tested positive, but he made some joke, and it led to this tid bit of info.... so, if a man tests positive (and there's nothing wrong with the test itself) then he should be seen by a doctor,

Wow! That is interesting. I would never think to have a man take a test. LOL! It would seem like a waste of my $ or more if you get name brands.

Weird to be posting in here. But I do not want to get pregnant right now. LOL! I think that goes without saying. That said, I probably won't see a period until at least another 6 months. Although Rhys is sleeping longer than 4 hours, so it could be sooner. I want it to come though.
