I wish i could give you my feelings on this cd, but, i still haven't gotten this one yet, or even heard it yet. I falling behind on a lot of the new projects out there. Just can't keep up.

If you get only five projects this year, this one should probably be one of them. The Perrys' new one should also be on that short list.

....along with Greater Vision's new project.

I guess I'll get in on You Gotta Love It before you move on

1. Giver, Creator, Savior ***** (obviously I liked this song more than most)
2. You Gotta Love It ***
3. Smack Dab In the Middle of His Will ****
4. He Will Be **
5. Let It Be Me **
6. The Great I Am Still Is ****
7. The Old White Flag *****
8. He Rescued Me *****
9. Delievered Again ****
10. The Holy Hills of Heaven Call Me **
11. I Know I'm Going Home *****

This project is barely hanging on to my top 5 of 2007, but I've not heard Greater Vision or The Perrys new ones yet. So it may be bumped out pretty soon.

I'm really enjoying this thread. It's interesting to see people's opinions of a single project at a time. Thanks, DM!!!

You know, looking at the way I rated this one you would think I don't like these guys but I really do. I just didn't feel that this was one of their better projects.

I know everyone ratings are starting to run together by now, but I will still contribute by two cents. I'm not sure I like this CD quite as good as their self-titled release, but it is pretty close.

I think since we're still getting replies, let's stick to this one for the rest of the day today.

2. The Rocks Between the Hard Place and You *****
3. True to the Call ****
4. I Am the Way *****
5. I Want You to Know *****
6. Jesus Made a Believer Out of Me ****

9. Lord Your Word Is Still True ****
10. What We Needed ***** (I was really wanting to hear this song live, but I believe it was the only song from the CD they didn't sing when I saw them Saturday)
11. I Sing Because *****

That's nine out of eleven songs that got at least 4 stars. And the other two aren't bad, they're just not as strong as the rest of the album.

True To The Call - Kingdom Heirs. It is hard to find a subpar recording from this group. They constantly crank out top notch recordings.

1. Since Jesus Moved In ***
2. The Rock's Between The Hard Place And You ****
3. True To The Call ***
4. I Am The Way ****
5. I Want You To Know *****
6. Jesus Made A Believer Out Of Me ***
7. Looking Out For You *****
8. Praying Your Troubles Away ***
9. Lord Your Word Is Still True ****
10.What We Needed ***** (I agree that this is a great song!!)
11.I Sing Because ***** (For all you newbies, Arthur's orignal cut of this song is found on the Kingsmen's Stand Up At Opryland USA album from 1986. Both versions are outstanding!)

Since we moved on to the next project, I thought it would be fun to go back and recap the previous one for comparisons sake. This project was rated by fourteen people. I took the average rating of each song and this is how it looks:

1. Giver, Creator, Savior (3.86 stars)
2. You Gotta Love It (3.21 stars)
3. Smack Dab In the Middle of His Will (3.64 stars)
4. He Will Be (3 stars) (tied for the least popular)
5. Let it Be Me (3 stars) (tied for the least popular)
6. The Great I Am Still Is (3.92 stars)
7. The Old White Flag (4.21 stars)
8. He Rescued Me (4.79 stars) (tied for the most popular)
9. Delivered Again (3.71 stars)
10. The Holy Hills of Heaven Call Me (3.42 stars)
11. I Know I'm Going Home (4.79 stars) (tied for the most popular)

The highest total star count this project got was 55 stars (average of 5 stars) by NewTQFan, followed by 46 total stars (4.16 stars) by Dinana. The lowest total star count was 34 total stars (3.09 stars) by K.B.

The total average on the entire project was 3.78 stars.

If it's alright by Daniel I'll do this on each one as we move along.

I have not heard and do not have access to the one y'all are doing now so I will patiently wait for the next one. I would like to suggest Once Upon A Cross by the Mark Trammell Trio as the next one we rate.

Sounds good. I had another one in mind, but we'll do that. Let's give everyone another day or so to get in their posts on True to the Call, and this time I'll wait for LRBB's summary before moving on to the next one.
