It's my favorite BFA album. The songs throughout are solid, and it's a real power ending that just keeps getting better and better.

Wow, Daniel, that's a great album rating. It's good to see your enthusiasm for a BFA album. I am surprised that "Knock No More" was a 5 star song and "Only By The Blood" was a 3 star song.

Nothing wrong with that rating, but for some reason I figured you would've had those 2 turned around. It's nice to see you enjoy some good "soul" songs from the group.

I think you know that I tend to like big ballads (case in point: "For God So Loved"). But I also like fast-paced quartet songs if they're well done, and I really liked "Knock No More."

I think of this as the best album BFA has released.

I'm impressed. I never thought Daniel Mount would give a BFA project a higher rating than me!

It all depends on the project. I'll always give a BFA an album a fair listen, and if it's not too progressive, you never know.

I am not much into rating albums. But I do like most any live albums. I also like anything BF&A does.

So, what to rate next? In light of Josh Feemster and Chris West getting back on the road, I propose any Mercy's Mark project.

Is there any news on a name for the new group yet?

Dinana's going to pass on information soon on how to submit ideas for the "naming contest". Winner gets prizes. I have some ideas myself...

I don't have any ideas. I had a hard enough time neming my last group and coming up with something original.

Sometime I'd like to see peoples' ratings of "Real Faith," but it doesn't have to be now.

I've really been missing this thread. Anyone want to rate the new Mark Trammell Trio project, Always Have a Song?

It has the highest star ratings I've given a project lately.

By the way, for everyone new to the thread - we typically give each project 2-3 days, doing maybe 2 a week. LRBB, are you still willing to do your stellar (um, no pun intended) averages for us?

Here are my ratings for Always Have a Song.

1. I Know That I Know - ****
2. Loving The Lamb - *****
3. Called In, Called Up, Called Out - ****
4. What Good Would a Crown Be - *****
5. Safe on the Glory Side - *****
6. If God Said It, I Believe It - ****
7. At the Whisper of His Name - *****
8. I Always Have A Song to Sing - ***
9. If Only Just a Few - *****
10. Coming Out and Moving In - *****

I bought this CD at the same time I bought Mark's new solo CD, Treasures of the Heart, Vol. 2, which I would give a straight 5 star rating.
