Won't It Be Wonderful There **** (Great song from Chris Allman)

So is this not the classic song?

No, it's a (fairly) new one that former Greater Vision tenor Chris Allman wrote. I think you would really like this song.

The weird thing is that MTT does both songs, often in the same concert!

OK, I might try it.

You know, I frequently think that your tastes and my mine frequently are so similar that I ought to get recommendations from you on specific songs! But I don't like asking some questions about popular songs, so I maybe should try PMs.

PMs are fine with me.

Even though I might occasionally like a song you wouldn't, and vice versa (it happens with everyone), I think I sort of have a feel for which songs I like are songs you'd also like.

I say it with almost every CD I buy from the Mark Trammell Trio: I prefer their live sound to their recordings.

1. Even Thomas Couldn't Doubt It ***
2. Won't it Be Wonderful There ****
3. Moving the Hand of God ****
4. Once Upon a Cross ***** My favorite on the album
5. However I Go ***
6. I Still Believe *****
7. Let Me Bring Your Children Home ****
8. Weary at the Well ****
9. You Can't Hold Back the Flood ****

This is by far the best project I have picked up this year. My only regret about this CD is that I didn't hear it prior to voting for album of the year in the SN Fan Awards. This would have been my pick had I heard it earlier.

Daniel, are we going to do one CD/album per day? That seems like what we've been doing already anyway and I believe that is the way to go. Also, are we only going to do recent projects or will we occasionally rate older projects? I can't speak for anyone else but I wouldn't mind doing both.

I know for myself I have a very limited number of projects that are more than 10 or 15 years old...

I would really enjoy rating albums from several years ago though like "Walk The Talk" by GC or "Going On With The Song" by KHQ.

Tyler, I didn't mean we should rate things like the Chuck Wagon Gangs first recording or anything like that! I know I'm old but I ain't that old!

I meant pretty much anything from the last ten or fifteen years, though if someone wanted to rate something older every now and then I would be okay with that too.

We'll do about one every two days. We'll do old projects, too. ;)

Don't worry, I won't bring up a project unless we have at least a couple of people who have it!

I just feel bad for those who do not have a bunch of SG projects because they won't be able to participate as much in this one. I have about 180 or so projects but nearly one-third of those are by one group - the Cathedrals - so I'll miss out on a bunch too.

Now if you started a "Rate the Cathedrals" thread, I'd be all over that one!

Over time--if interest in this thread continues--I'll definitely throw in some Cathedrals projects once in a while.

I second that. Walk the Talk is probably my favorite Gold City album.

I'll have to wait till tonight to post my ratings on "Once Upon A cross" because I am not on my home computer right now.

I actually just bought that one today, though I haven't listened to it yet.

You know what? I have a feeling if MTT would've recorded a live version of "Once Upon A Cross" and sent it to radio it would've hit the Top 10 - at least. What do you guys think?

I agree. It's one of "those" songs. (Another is L5's "I Have Been Changed.")

Only that song has already been recorded live!

Since someone asked for the Cathedrals, does anyone have an interest in doing Radio Days?
