Hola Denizens! I'm kicking back and enjoying my vacation. It would be even better if it wasn't so dang hot...

I am also rather frustrated because apparently at 35, you do the same thing you do at 30: Gain weight. I just ordered all new work pants.... again..... It's frustrating because I work out really hard. I may have to start cutting back on the goodies....

I think I'll just run more miles though and see if that works... There are some things I just don't want to give up just yet....

Enjoy. After 50, starving AND running won't take it off.

The way it's going, I may have that problem before 50...

Euty, your avatar is priceless!

It was getting time to change and I noticed that one today. I borrowed from the original wording and changed it slightly.

Here's a link to the original

Ha, love the link Euty...

Hope the Den had a good day. I'm hot and tired and broke out the Margarita's that have been in my fridge for a couple weeks now. Hopefully they are still good!!

This has definitely been a WEEK!!!!!!!!

I had a fender bender a few weeks back and still witing on car repairs.
My dad had throat cancer surgery on Wed - he's doing very well.
A co-worker was let go due to embezzlement yesterday.
And today!!!! My husband was hit by a big ole truck on the interstate, tearing up the rear end of his car big time.

Hmmm...is there a lesson I'm not seeing in all this?

Yikes Doink, that is ...not a good week! Hope it turns around real soon!

I've had a busy week, but a good one for the most part - and this evening I get to meet DS1 and the grandkidlets for dinner at their favorite Mexican place! Looking forward to my "favorite double date", not to mention some Margarita's that haven't been in the fridge long enough to be questionable .

My niece will be having her baby in the next few days . If the hospital has full staff, and things are fairly "calm" in the delivery area tomorrow they will "voluntarily" induce - if there are a gazillion babies that decide to come today/tonight/tomorrow, they will wait til Monday to induce her - unless, of course, "he" decides all on his own when he wants to come into the world - short staffed, busy, or not. So, I'm looking forward to welcoming a new family member , how fun is that?!

How about stuff happens? Sorry, I'm no help. Seriously, it does seem sometimes that it never rains, it pours. I assume dh is okay? There's the silver lining! And the embezzlement thing - wow, I have a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that that stuff happens.

Ok so far , I have had my coffee (good thing since it's 2:00). I have also done a 1/2 hours on my exercixe bike, cleaned my kitchen and bathroom, got all my flowers watered and a couple "volunteers" replanted somewhere I actually want them and am thinking about going to the mall for a couple things.

I'm good. Tired of hot and sticky weather, which is nothing like you probably had in Texas, but yesterday I saw 2 different trees starting to turn colors... ack, I'm not ready for that yet either!

I love the fall, but unfortunately winter follows right after it... .
