Same here. DH isn't a baby. He has to be really sick to lay down all day. He isn't demanding but is quiet which he apologizes for.

I chose I'd rather take care of someone else, because at least I don't fall behind so much. However, it is nice to have an excuse to stay in bed all day, and if it's one of my kids and they're really sick I wish I could take their place.

I just got done with having thyroid cancer again/still, had surgery, radiation treatment, isolation, no sense of taste, and now I sit here with a migraine. I hate it when my kids are sick, but today is not a good time for me to be able to answer this poll.

Aw, I hope you little one feels better. I find it ironic that after answering this poll yesterday I have a sick little guy today. At least its a good excuse to spoil him. He's watching TV right now which very rarely happens unless I'm preparing dinner.

Might pick being sick, but I was sick at the beginning of the week and was reminded that no one here can do what I do.  Actually dh did much better than he has in the past so I have no complaints. I just really miss the ability to sleep all day when I'm sick. Now I'm on call for emergencies, meal times and dealing with my youngest.
So I choose caring for someone else. I have more grace about that.

I prefer nobody to be sick.
I was just in the hospital. My DH was worried sick.
I've taken care of a very sick (hospitalized) child.
I took care of a husband with an infection who needed IV antibiotics.
I don't want to do any of it again.
